Catalytic Private Credit Fund

The Fund was launched in November 2020 under the Catalytic Funds VCC umbrella. Under its various Classes of Shares, the Fund offers exposure to either multiple managers through its multi-manager Classes or single managers through its single-manager Classes.

The multi-manager Classes enable an investor to get exposure to hundreds of heavily collateralised loans by making a single investment in the Fund. This allows massive risk diversification, yet delivers returns similar to what an investor would earn on a single loan, or with a single manager, thereby enabling a considerable uplift in risk-adjusted returns. Catalytic, as investment manager, selects managers after an extensive due diligence process and works closely with them, monitoring their loan books regularly to ensure that the uplift in risk-adjusted returns is real and not just a perception. 

 

Importantly, the owners of Catalytic align with clients not simply by co-investing with them (which is the usual way of showing alignment), but lead from the front by providing significant First Loss capital which shields investors' principal.
